Muse 4.2 Muse 4.2 is art of the Muses series, a collection of portraits of men created in 2012. The series examined the female gaze in fine art and its creation ran alongside research into the postfeminist male model in art. Each model in the series was assigned a number, with values after the decimal point denoting an individual image of the sitter. Horseshoe moustache painting Muse 4.2 is a painting of a man's lips, chin and horseshoe moustache, closely cropped. It is done in oil paint on hardboard in a detailed, realist style. Size The painting measures 10cm square without the frame. Framing This painting is presented with a custom made distressed brown/black wooden frame.
