I’ve learned to appreciate what little progress I make every week. At first I had an idea of what I wanted to do – trim out a bit of the frame where my hand knocked my mini cutting mat on the table – but I couldn’t get it to work. Eventually I gave up and ended up learning a fair bit about zooming and changing frame position, which was very useful in itself.
However, after a bit of practise, I did manage to pick up the very basic fundamentals of masking, and used my “failed” test animation to make a new video. What I’ve come up with might be a cinemagraph, but it might have a bit too much video in it to count – I don’t know.
Still, I’m cracking on with adding to my cast of characters… but that’s for next week.
