Muse 3.0 - circular framed oil on board painting Muse 3.0 is a oil painting made in 2012 as part of the Muses series, a collection of paintings and sculptures about the male model in contemporary representational art. The collection has been exhibited at the Chatham Historic Dockyard as well as Chapel Gallery, Ormskirk. This painting uses a model in contemporary dress, represented in a manner typical of historical portraiture. It was one of the first circular portraits I completed, which has influenced my work since then. The painting is framed in a round wooden frame which has been painted and distressed. This painting will be delivered complete with its frame.
